Institute of Professional Language (IPL)

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University started her journey to provide quality education based on state of the art technological support responsive to the emerging challenges at home and abroad. As a part of the quality education BSMRMU has established Institute of Professional Language (IPL) for providing foreign Language Courses. Foreign language plays an important role in international co-operation for developing social, political, cultural, economical sectors of a country. The IPL is one of the promising Institute of BSMRMU, which is going to conduct various foreign language courses.

Initially IPL is going to start Basic Chinese Language Course and gradually Intermediate and Diploma Level courses on Chinese Language will start. Then Myanmar, French, Arabic, Spanish and other language courses will be conducted in future. A number of highly qualified resource person from reputed institutions will conduct the courses. The institute has a modern Language Lab with facilities of computer and IT. The Language course conducted by IPL will surely enhance the additional quality of the participants which would definitely help them to get better job at home and abroad.
