About: Mohammed Mojahid Hossain Chowdhury is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Port and Shipping Management at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University, Bangladesh. He has seven-year experience in maritime transport and logistics education and research. He published five research articles in national and international journals and presented six international conference papers in Hong Kong (IAME 2020), the Philippines (IMLA 25), and Dhaka (ICBM). He has been awarded "IMO Secretary-General Best Dissertation Award 2020" for his best dissertation at World Maritime University, Sweden while he was pursuing MSc in Shipping Management and Logistics. Mr. Chowdhury founded the Centre for Transportation and Logistics Research, Bangladesh (www.ctlrbd.com) which is an excellent platform for maritime transportation and logistics research for Bangladesh, in particular, and the world, in general. Mr. Chowdhury loves to play with data. He applies different econometric and operations research models/tools to maritime transport and logistics and comes up with great contributions to academia and industry.
