Bangladesh Maritime University observes with due respect the “Genocide Day, 2025 on 25 March at its temporary campus at Pallabi, Dhaka. A discussion meeting were taken place to observe the day at the auditorium of the campus. The honourable Vice Chancellor of the University Rear Admiral Ashraful Hoq Chowdhury, NBP, OSP, BCGM, ndu, afwc, psc graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Treasurer, Registrar, Deans, Faculty members, Students, Officers and Staffs of the university attended at the program. Dr. M A Wahab, Professor, Department of Marine Fisheries & Aquaculture delivered his speech on the day and Genocide occurred in 1971. The honourable Vice Chancellor also addressed his speech in the program. He remembered with due respect the victims of genocide in 1971 and all the martyrs of the independence war of Bangladesh.
