The Honorable Vice-Chancellor of Bangladesh Maritime University Rear Admiral Ashraful Hoq Chowdhury, NBP, OSP, BCGM, ndu, afwc, psc paid a call on with the new appointed Honorable Education Adviser Professor Dr. Chowdhury Rafiqul Abrar on 17 March 2025. He had a fruitful discussion with the Adviser describing the ongoing academic and administrative activities of the university. Especially the Vice-Chancellor informed the Adviser about the recent demand of the students and early transfer to University’s permanent campus in Chattogram. He also apprised the Adviser on latest update of construction works for establishment of university's permanent campus at Hamidchar, Chattogram. The Honorable Education Adviser assured the Vice-Chancellor for his wholehearted support for the betterment of the university, faculty members, officers, employees and the students. He also assured his cordial assistance will be remain for the successful completion of construction works to establish the permanent campus and shift as early as possible. He wish a grand success of the university by producing skilled manpower, inventing modern technologies and creating new knowledge by research for the sustainable development of maritime sectors of the country and contribute to national economy. He also wish the university will be the center of maritime excellence and international standard maritime university in near future as well.
