The new appointed honourable Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh Maritime University (BMU) Rear Admiral Dr. Khandakar Akhter Hossain, NUP, ndc, psc, PhD paid a courtesy call on with the honourable Vice Chancellor of Aviation and Aerospace University, Bangladesh (AAUB) Air Vice Marshal A K M Manirul Bahar, OSP, BSP, ndc, hdmc, afwc, psc, ADWC on 15 May 2025 at the AAUB temporary campus at Dhaka. He had a fruitful discussion with the Vice Chancellor of AAUB describing the ongoing academic and administrative activities of the university at its temporary campus. He has also informed the VC, AAUB about the ongoing construction works of establishing Bangladesh Maritime University's permanent campus at Hamidchar, Chattogram. At that time the VC AAUB assured the Vice Chancellor of BMU to whole hearted support to smooth journey of the university. They had also agreed to work together on the prospects of mutual collaboration, development of higher education and joint research, publication and any other field of the universities.
